Raindrop Technique
About Raindrop Technique, an aromatherapy treatment:
Nine different essential oils are dropped along the back like raindrops, and are feathered and brushed in with a variety of techniques... the result is deep relaxation and less tension or tightness in the back!
There is a video at the bottom of this page, that will give you more information, and a demonstration of the technique. The video features Gary Young, the founder of Young Living Essential Oils and the Raindrop Technique.
What are the benefits?
Raindrop Technique was developed as a result of research indicating that many forms of back problems are caused by muscle tension, and toxins that have built up in those tight spots that result in discomfort and inflammation.
- The essential oils can help reduce the built-up toxins, leaving the back less tight and tense, because most of the Raindrop essential oils create an environment that helps clear toxins.
- The legs and feet are also treated with several of the oils, which helps to clear toxins from the system, as well.
- Raindrop Technique can also help with stress reduction and energy balancing.
- The effects are cumulative over several sessions, and the results can vary depending on the individual.
What are Essential Oils?
- Essential Oils are subtle, therapeutic-grade oils distilled from plants, shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes and seeds.
- They are oxygenating, and help transport nutrients to the cells of our body, which helps promote overall health and vitality.
- The Young Living Essentials Oils are especially noted for purity, and are distilled from organic plants.
- Each essential oil has their own "energy signature," and they each perform a different role in changing the body's energy for your highest good.
Which Essential Oils are used in a Raindrop Session?
