I have long been interested in preventive, integrative care and spirituality, and have a passion for sharing these interests. I teach Reiki classes as a Reiki Master and Teacher, and offer Reiki energy balancing treatments through individual appointments.
Becoming a Reiki Master / Teacher in 1997 was an important step for me. As a Reiki Master / Teacher, I am able to share this wonderful Reiki energy with clients during individual Reiki sessions, and to teach Reiki classes in this vibrational, and energy-based, system for healing.

As I moved further along on my journey, I learned the Raindrop Technique, an aromatherapy treatment specifically for the back, which involves dropping essential oils along the spine. Since then, I have also learned CranioSacral Therapy, which works by releasing deep tension along the spine, the tail bone to the cranium (all the bones in the head). I have completed 4 CranioSacral classes and will be attending a 5th in August of 2013.
Each of these bodywork modalities can be a wonderful alternative or complementary therapy, for a wide variety of reasons. I tend to integrate all of the modalities into my appointments. Please look at the corresponding pages on my website for more in-depth information about each of them.
As a Spiritual Director, we can work together to notice where God and Spirit are at work in your life through the events that life presents you. It is also powerful and healing and works very well as an appointment sitting in chairs or incorporated into a combination Spiritual Direction and Bodywork appointment.
My daughter, Emily Atwood Zwirek, makes beautiful beaded and crystal Pendulums to assist in checking the body's chakras (energy centers) and as a tool for accessing your inner knowing. Please click on the tab above to find more information on how to use a pendulum, and how to purchase one. I do have them for sale in my office, as well.
